Description:Huangshan Tribute Chrysanthemum is one of China抯 most popular herbal teas.It grows on the high remote mountains in the Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) area of Anhui province. This tea is well-known for its cooling properties that help to detoxicate, cool down our internal heat , wet lung, relieve a cough, resist inflammation, prevent caducity and enhance the resistance of capillary vessel.It is a natural green drink popular everywhere in China.
Other names: Huang Shang Gong Ju,Yellow Chrysanthemum
Taste: Very refreshing and has a natural sweet fragrance and taste.
Appearance: Dried white/yellow colored chrysanthemum flowers
Brewing Guide: Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use around 4 to 5 flowers (2g/0.07oz ) for every 250 ml of water.Steep flowers in hot water at 185-203℉ or 85-95℃ for 2 to 4 minutes,or until the liquor turns light yellow.You may try brewing this tea with a bit of rock sugar or honey.
Story:It was used as a tribute to imperial court in Qing Dynasty.
