Product Descriptions
Leafy Leather – Plant-Based Leather from Corn and Banana Waste
Leafy Leather is a next-generation, plant-based leather manufacturer from India, creating sustainable leather, eco leather, and vegan leather from corn husks and banana stems—agro-waste that would otherwise be discarded. With over 90% bio-based content and a minimal PU topcoat for durability, it offers a perfect balance of strength, flexibility, and environmental responsibility.
Our material is soft, lightweight, and customizable in texture, thickness, color, and backing, making it ideal for bags, footwear, fashion accessories, upholstery, and home décor. It is durable, water-resistant, and designed for modern sustainable brands seeking innovative materials.
Available formats:
1m x 1m sheets – for bulk production
A3 size cuts – for sampling and prototyping
Swatch sets – for quick material selection
Now in commercial production, Leafy Leather is ready for collaborations with designers, brands, and manufacturers worldwide. Together, we can redefine fashion with sustainable, plant-based, and cruelty-free materials.
