Doorskin primers and paint are typically applied using high speed robot sprays on an in-line MDF production line. The process applies two layers wet on wet at high temperatures. Frimpeks® door coating products are heat resistant and have been developed in conjunction with door manufacturers. Frimpeks® also produce door skin primers for use with water based paints. The primer has excellent metal marking resistance and very good “hiding” power. The paint has an excellent heat resistance to withstand additional processes that reach 1200°C.
Frimpeks® topcoats are excellent for providing a professional finish to factory manufactured doors. Our products are water based and therefore safer than solvent alternatives.
